What you are doing is summing a power amp's tone (profile) to another one (Katana), which (levels apart and with a garin of salt) roughly equals to running two amps one into another, then to the cab.īasically, you are never really listening to the Katana in itself: that would be achieved by inputting a clean guitar signal into it: that would be how the Katana sounds like. The profiles you use already have the Marshall power amp tone signature (which is undistinguishable from the original, or at least not so distant to make one say "it's not realistic".
